I’m excited to welcome you once again to Purposeful Connections, our yearly leadership retreat in Playa Del Carmen Mexico!!
This year will be amazing as always and to ensure you get the EXACT experience you DESERVE, we have made some changes to the Purposeful Connections Event this year. The location will be back at The Riu Yucatan in Playa del Carmen, Mexico on September 23,24,25. It will start Friday evening at our social hour in the beautiful lobby bar, followed directly with our favorite Beach Opener where you will be welcomed, be able to say hello to old friends, and meet new ones.
Unlike years past, we are leaving your arrival and departure times up to you, the reason for this is simple. In years past, many wanted to come early and stay late and it was easiest and best to just set the date for “The Event” but leave the rest of your trip up to you.
There are many options available to choose your travel pals, your room preference, your itinerary etc… and this year, it is wide open for you to make this a custom trip to your hearts desire!! Just make sure you are at The Riu before 6:00 P.M. Friday September 23rd and you don’t depart until Monday the 26th (we don’t want you to miss any of the connection opportunities)!
The biggest change with Purposeful Connections is with the itinerary. This year we will have 3 daily “scheduled” activities and the rest of the “Event” will be completely organic and turn itself into whatever is supposed to happen for you! We will do a morning meet up at the beach where you may want to meditate alone or with a friend, exercise with the group, or walk on the beach and visualize the next day, week or year or your success. During the day at 1:00 we will again meet up for an organized personal growth empowerment hour which will be lead and facilitated. Lastly we will wrap up our day with happy hour and the evening Beach closer.
As you are aware, the best of Purposeful Connections comes from the interactions we have at breakfast, lunch, and dinner or while we meet to share stories near the pool or floating lazily in the beautiful Caribbean ocean or while learning something new from someone new in the evening at a show,

The hotel charge for a double room for 3 nights is $714.00, and the single room for 3 nights is $517.65. Remember, this is an all inclusive hotel. This covers your room for Friday-Sunday nights, food, fun, drinks, “The Event”, gratuity, and entertainment. The fees are next to nothing and you just cannot miss the time we spend together at happy hour under the stars of the beautiful Yucatan night!
The number for the call center is 1-888-RIU-4990, and when prompted, dial 2 for a new reservation. To reserve a room you will have to give them a credit card, but they only use it to hold the room for you. Then you can just pay when you arrive. If you want to change the reservation or cancel it, you must do so before September 15.
The hotel Shuttle service can be reserved also. It costs $12 per person one way.
